Day 6: Kendall

“Your seven minutes are up”
- Stranger Than Fiction
These words are echoed throughout one specific chapter in my book. It makes you wonder, if we as individuals, have enough time to accomplish all those goals that we have in life. One group of characters in my book has only seven minutes to possibly catch their life dream. But is that really enough time? Are the characters in your book given a great amount of time before the bell finally rings or do they have to make do with the time that is given? Do you feel that you’re given enough time to complete the task in your life? If not, what do you plan to do to make it happen sooner?

I think the bell ringing refers to the end of our life. So by the end of my life, was I given enough time to accomplish the goals that I set out for myself? I don't know if I was given enough time because I don't know how much time I have. That question is asking me to look ahead in my life. But I want to try to earn a living as soon as possible after college. I want to own real estate and invite everyone else to come live with me. I want to accomplish many things but don't know how much time I'll have. Four years from now I may not be here. We could all be wiped out. I want to consider the fact that my life may be over at any point, so I want to visit the most exotic vacation spot. I want to perform the most extreme stunt possible. The time I spent living my life should be worth the experience I went through.

Im reading the story Our America I wouldnt say the characters are givin a specific time to do something. But in some part of it i might see it that way because they have to accomplish things in their life before they die. that reason is beacause they live in a bad neighborhood,in which people allways say they will not end up to reach the age 18 or other but these kids dont think like that. They are allways thinking about what they are goin to do next they are not negative thinkers. So they actuly have to fight for their goals by themselves they are not givin a specfic time but they go for theire dreams at a specific age.Yes I do think im givin enough time to complete the task in my life. Sometimes i may not but only beacause its somethign urgent that needs to be done.

Most recently I have felt that there might not be enough time to complete all your goals that you have set up for yourself. The only way that I can set it up for myself that I can complete all of the goals for myself is to not let anything get in my way. To move around certain obstacles. I'm the only one to blame if I cannot complete all that is expected of me.
In Stranger Than Fiction Chuck writes about charcters that are given a certain amount of time to complete their dream. It seems to me for the most part the people he writes about have enough time to complete their dreams. The only chapter reading I felt it was only a short amount of time was about the writers hoping that their script or screen play was the one right for the next big Hollywood produced movie. To me this was the only dream put a time hold on.

I honestly think that no one has enough time to do what they feel is needed. People love to procrastinate, and we know it. For example, Danielle said earlier during class that we shouldn’t wait until an hour before our first class to do an assignment. Time is always going. It’s a never ending hour glass flipped over so that the sand is pouring constantly. I have always known that I was a slow worker. Not that I my work is bad, however I have slacked behind when it comes to the important things. I hate finishing in dead last though.

No, I've never felt that I won't have enough time to do what it is I was born to do. For I know that the path i walk is true, and that god won't overload me. I believe that he will give me the time needed to achieve my goals. That what I can do is by on chance only fate and that I have my whole life to do what it is I want. And before die I will have compeleted my goals in life because I refuse to die before I'm done. So I feel as if I have all the time in the world. That I'm my own person and I set my own time. Woot Woot!

the charaater in Our America are not given a time limti cause just for the somple fact that telling your story about your life has no time on it. you cant put a time limit on the true. as you can see the book go for seveal year from when they was about fourth to high school. so that is a perfect way of smming up the Qustion

i my life the time i get is endless for completing my task of life. cause ever day that go by more and more time is added to your lidfe so therefor the time to complete the one of your tasks is exented so you can finish the task

You only have enough time to accomplish your goals and dreams in life if you make it. With that being said, it never FEELS like enough time, but it’s there if you want it bad enough. But Ryan is hella right, because you never know how much time you have left so just make the best out of it. Every day I wake up and try to get closer to accomplishing my goals. It maybe a slow process but process is progress. I can’t run my own label without learning addition and basic math you feel me? All the characters in my book never have enough time in my opinion. But that’s only because there doing things that they love, when you’re in the middle of that you never have enough time only because you never want it to end…..

I was always told we never have enough time to finish anything. To just do what you can in the time that’s given. How do I know when I will accomplish my goals? I guess your picture says it best “hope”. That’s all we can really have. We need to hope we have enough time. I guess also, we never reach all of our goals, small or big; the minute one has been reached a new one is created. I knew step or task you have to overcome. Goals are unlimited and the time we are given is just to see how many we can reach before our time is up.

Life seems to have so many paths that we all tend to lose focus on we want…and then before we know it……BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!......we‘re old, grandchildren running around, and retired….saying where in the hell did life go??????....well since my family have a good history of living up until their 70’s, I hope I’m just as lucky. I want my life to have meaning and since that meaning is based my actions….then expect only the best.

this is a great question seeing that this is something i think about on the daily bases. even when i was younger felt that i was just not givin enough time through out the course of a day. 24 hours isn't much, it's only two sets of twelve, and at least seven should be dedicated to sleep. i can remember back when i used to wish that two years meant only one without aging, which can bring up the topic of the fountain of youth. when your young you usually think about the future a lot and how fast you grow up. a lot of the time i find myself complaining of why a season went by so fast. it comes to show that nothings gonna be here forever and that goes for you yourself also. this honestly to me is one of the most dreadful things of life. something so bautiful as enjoying this earth is only for a limited time.. wow that crazy

Well I believe that the bell is our life coming to an end. Obivisously seven minutes isnt enough time to live a life and some of us have experienced that. In seven minutes we probably get up, hit the alarm clock and wipe our eyes. So to live life and achieve a goal in seven minutes is Impossible. But the quote is saying live your life like you have seven minutes. "Dont put off, what you can do today" is a quote that we should live by. Do everything you want and can do today because, tomorrow is not promised neither is the other 53 minutes of your day. King Phillip
